Application

We accept writers working on manuscripts of genre fiction: romance, mystery, thriller, horror, science fiction, slipstream, alternate history, fantasy and young adult. Please, no poetry, nonfiction, anthologies or children's picture books. The more complete your draft the more you'll benefit, but if you have a partial draft and an outline, go ahead and apply. Space is limited to twenty participants, and we need time to read the submissions and issue invitations, so the sooner you apply, the more likely you are to get in. If we believe your writing shows potential, you'll be invited to attend Misque 2008.

What to send: First chapter of your manuscript. If you wish, you can also send an outline or a one-page synopsis, but it's not necessary.

Deadline for Registration: March 30, 2008.

Note, after March 30, there may be a late fee.
